This training provides a deeper dive into the lives and experiences of transgender older adults. Participants will be guided through the many choices that a transgender individual can make to live and express their gender identity, and best practices for understanding and validating those choices. This includes subjects such as relationships, names and pronouns, and different definitions of what it means to transitions. Participants will walk away with a better understanding of ways in which to support transgender older adult clients in their community
